A series of 21 new photos are presented as new collection acquisitions. None of these photos are part of a gallery at this moment, but will be in the near future as we bring our entire collection online again in phases. We also brought 4 new short videos to our Vanessa-Mae channel at YouTube. Links to all the individual 4 videos are presented at VMSPOS, as well a few screen captures are used to illustrate the description of the videos. Vanessa-Mae appeared on a charity evening held in the Electric Cinema to raise money for the  Morecambe Bay Children's Fund. We started a new gallery 4 containing photos of Vanessa-Mae during concerts of her Storm On World Tour in 1997 and 1998. Screen captures from a video of Vanessa-Mae's appearance in 2001 at BBC's Asia Life show are shown. The video is available at YouTube in 3 parts with performances of White Bird, Destiny and an interesting interview. First update of 2009 was made online in the new design with a VMSPOS announcement, some interesting links related to Vanessa-Mae that we recently discovered and a new series of photos of Vanessa-Mae dating from 2007 that we also found recently. These features can be seen in a scrollable frame. Below the frame are placed some features that will also be updated regularly like the quote of Vanessa-Mae and the photo of Vanessa-Mae of the week..  We implemented the new design for most pages. Photo galleries were switched off. Online in the new design remain the biography, discography and tour dates pages. Available in the old design remain all review pages, including our concert reviews, and the Vanessa-Mae news archive pages. The Collection of photos of Vanessa-Mae page in the new design now holds links to our concert photos that we made ourselves.

For the history of updates see site logbook - archives.
