Shortly after the release in the UK of her new album Subject To Change in May 2001, Vanessa-Mae took her new music with the single Destiny to the British club circuit with considerable successes. This series of photos show Vanessa-Mae at one of these shows and at a posing for photographers immediately thereafter. She is dressed here in her so-called Destiny outfit of all black leather with a very short mini skirt with small leather strings around her legs, a top of leather strings wrapped around her upper body leaving the belly button exposed, walking on knee high black leather boots with spike heels. At all these performances, Vanessa-Mae's face was heavily made up with a covering pale complexion, to which her overwhelmingly red painted glossy lips and with black liner and lots of mascara accentuated eyes served as striking contrasts. Vanessa-Mae's daring all black leather outfit and the excessive make-up certainly added to the successes of these spectacular performances. |

| This photo below was made in May of 2001 when Vanessa-Mae did a few surprise impromptu appearances in London to promote her new album Subject To Change, and at the same time to raise money for charity. This particular photo was made on Trafalgar Square, and is available in gallery 8 of our collection of photos of Vanessa-Mae. Other photos of this event will be added soon as well. Vanessa-Mae looked splendid in a bright red T-shirt and blue denim jeans. | ||||

The photo below on the left shows Vanessa-Mae at one of her Tour For Change concerts in the UK in November of 2001 - the exact date is unknown to us. The photo to the right was made at Vanessa-Mae's concert in Hong Kong at the Convention Centre on September 18 of 2002. Here, Vanessa-Mae was dressed in flower print tight pants, a sleeveless purple top, and she had heavy make-up on, of which the deep red glossy lipstick was markedly present. Daisy, my dear friend from Hong Kong, was a this concert and she described Vanessa-Mae as being gorgeous, her face heavily made up, and that she liked both costumes Vanessa-Mae used before and after the break. |

| The photo below was made in 2003 on June 28 when she performed in a special concert to highlight the opening of the new Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa. During the evening, she also joined the stage with South African star Sibongile Khumalo. Many dignitaries, including President Thabo Mbeki, attended the evening. A this event, Vanessa-Mae was in a fine multi-coloured dotted top and white pair of trousers. Also, Vanessa-Mae's face was heavily made up as can be seen from the excessively used bright red lipstick in a flawless and smooth complexioned visage. | ||||
