Vanessa-Mae photographed during one of her Classical Tour concerts in Austria in August 1996. She performed in Graz (24), Villach (25 and 26), Salzburg (27) and Linz (28). Here on these photos, Vanessa-Mae plays the Carmen Fantasy, wearing the same sultry red short dress as she had on the Classical Concert in Berlin video - see the link for our review with screen captures. Notice the remarkable contrast between the stylish dress and the large knee-high black boots, a combination that somehow works nicely for the young girl Vanessa-Mae of still only being 17 years old.
On May 28 1997, Vanessa-Mae delivered an unique and spectacular open air concert on the Trocedero in Paris with the Eiffel Tower on the background. Vanessa-Mae wears an immaculate snow white outfit with ankle-high white boots. Vanessa-Mae virginal white outfit displayed innocence of the 18 year old, but her music was played boldly as by an adult artist with years of touring experience under her belt. Vanessa-Mae's face was cleverly made up: mark the sultry smouldering eye shadow against a smooth complexion of covering crème that is very visible seen on the photo on the left.
