The Hague,, June 9, 1998 Hamburg, May 4, 1999 Zurich, July 27, 2001 Berlin, December 7, 2001
London, October 21, 2004 Dresden, February 8, 2005 Hamburg, July 2, 2007 Westonbirt, July 18, 2009

Up till now, I visited 8 concerts of Vanessa-Mae. She deeply impressed me with her stage appearance and her play at all shows and I preserve so many fine and precious memories of all 8 evenings. Above the concert tickets are shown; on clicking the thumbnails larger images will appear. Below follows a brief description on all 7 concerts and links to my reviews and photos (I was able to shoot photos at 6 of the 8 events!) of the concerts. I can only say, seeing Vanessa-Mae perform live on stage is addictive: once you have seen her, you will never get enough of her!!

The concerts in chronological order:

'Choreography Tour' at the Westonbirt Arboretum on July 18, 2009
On July 18 of 2009, Vanessa-Mae acted in an open air concert at the Westonbirt Arboretum, an event organised by the
The Forestry Commission. Vanessa-Mae was accompanied by her band and the Notional Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anthony Inglis. The All Angels served as support act. See our Review on Vanessa-Mae live at the Westonbirt Arboretum.

'Choreography Tour' in Hamburg, July 2, 2007
Again together with colleague fan and friend Gerritt Bijsterbosch, I travelled to Hamburg this time to see Vanessa-Mae live in concert during her summer 2007 leg of her Choreography Tour in 5 cities in Germany. See my Review Vanessa-Mae live in concert, Hamburg 2007 that describes the concert and shows many fine photos of Vanessa-Mae in action.

'Choreography Tour' in Dresden February 8,2005
Together with Gerrit Bijsterbosch, a Dutch colleague fan, I visited Vanessa-Mae's kick off concert for the Choreography Tour in Dresden Germany on Tuesday, February 8th 2005. An extensive review with photos is available at the link: 'Vanessa-Mae live in Dresden (2005).'

'Choreography Tour' in London October 21, 2004
After a break of almost two years, Vanessa-Mae returned to the live stages in a special concert to add lustre to the release in the UK of her new album 'Choreography.' I was especially excited to see her again also because a after the show she would sign her new cd. I had permission via her personal assistant to handover the annual birthday present on behalf of the 'Vanessa-Mae Fans Forum' personally to Vanessa-Mae at the signing session. My report tells the story of the concert and the signing session. There are photos shown as well. See the link: 'Vanessa-Mae live at the Royal Festival Hall.'

'Tour For Change' in Berlin December 7, 2001
Vanessa-Mae's concert for her 'Tour For Change' tour was the maiden concert in the new 'Das Neue Tempodrom' in Berlin. Vanessa-Mae told the audience that she considered it a great honour to be invited for the opening event in such a great new venue. I was disappointed that no tour brochure and other merchandise were available at the concert. I wrote a letter to Vanessa-Mae with a request to have me send a signed brochure because I wanted to have my collection complete. I consider as a great honour to receive a brochure with signature directly from Vanessa-Mae personally and I want to express my indescribable thanks from the bottom of my heart to her for this wonderful gift. A review with photos is available at 'review and concert photos of Vanessa-Mae: Berlin 2001.'

Tour For Change' in the open air in Zurich live@sunset on July 27, 2001
Vanessa-Mae gave a concert at the annual live@sunset festival in Zurich. My review with photos is available at: 'review and concert photos of Vanessa-Mae in Zurich 2001.'

'The Original Four Seasons Tour' in Hamburg, May 4, 1999: Vanessa-Mae in classical action
I possess no photos of this concert since my camera was stolen from my house not too long before. Therefore only a review with my impressions is available. I was seated in the 4th row and Vanessa-Mae was standing right in front of me in all her glory, wearing a wonderful gala dress and, with her face very heavily made up. My report is available at:  'Vanessa-Mae live in Hamburg.'

'Storm On World Tour' in The Hague, June 9, 1998: my first concert of Vanessa-Mae
The first concert of Vanessa-Mae that I visited was on June 9th 1998 in The Hague. The concert was in the series of 'the Storm On World Tour' I had so high expectations for the show that I was dead nervous whether Vanessa-Mae could and would meet them. At the end of the evening, I felt an enormous relieve and satisfaction because Vanessa-Mae brought everything I expected and had hoped for. See for the my report: 'Vanessa-Mae, Storm On World Tour in The Hague 1998 - review.'
